Surgical Technique
Dr. Cameron is skilled in the full range of thoracic surgery techniques, including minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery, laser surgery, and radical surgery such as extrapleural pneumonectomy (EPP). However, in an effort to preserve quality of life for his patients, Dr. Cameron avoids performing EPP unless absolutely necessary. He prefers to perform minimally invasive surgery because it has fewer risks, is less invasive, and has a shorter recovery time.
