Clinical Excellence
In 2008, Dr. Lynn Wilson’s efforts won him the 2008 David J. Leffell Prize for Clinical Excellence, an annual award presented to a Yale faculty member who exemplifies clinical expertise and an ongoing commitment to teaching some of the highest standards of compassionate healthcare. That same year, Dr. Wilson also won the Francis Gilman Blake Award for being an exceptionally good teacher of the medical sciences.

Dr. Lynn Wilson’s patients include those who suffer from mesothelioma, lung cancer, melanoma, and cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. When New York Magazine compiled a list in 2010 of some of the best doctors in New York City, based on their listening skills, professional qualifications, empathy, trustworthiness, and communication skills, Dr. Wilson was in the top 10 percent.
